A quick weekend trip to Pahrump, Nevada, 1 hour outside of Las Vegas, with our last night in Vegas.  I met up with the parents and some other family friends.  Sue could not make the trip.  We took a 2-day defensive handgun course and celebrated Dad’s birthday.

Some photos below.  All photos here.

For Sue’s birthday, we took a quick trip up to Snow Mountain ranch for a night.  We stayed in a 2 bedroom cabin Friday night and did some hiking around on Saturday.  Before we returned to Denver, we loaded up on cinnamon rolls and other goodies from Rise and Shine Bakery in Winter Park.
