Here’s a quick post on recent outdoor activities.
I did a ride from the house. There is a JPG of the Google Earth route and elevation/heart rate graph.
Here is a hike we did with the dogs. It was an easy hike at at Dawson Butte Open Space Ranch, near our house. We went easy because we took our aging Greyhound with us. The JPG below is a Google Earth rendering showing the route and the elevation/heart rate graph. The slideshow below included the pictures I took. I have included locations of the photos in this Google Earth KMZ file of the route.
I spent a fair amount of time over the last month tearing down a part our main barn. It was originally not built correctly, full of junk wood and was eroding and damaging the integrity of the main barn structure. I left the main support columns and beams in place because I think this structure might make a great foundation for the climbing wall that I want to build in the future. I still need to repair the main barn siding, which I will do next. Images below showing the progress.
