Ed Soehnel is an experienced start-up and growth company expert, with more than 18 years’ experience in leading B-to-C and B-to-B-to-C product and service companies, from start-up through exit. He has sold 1 company, built 2, crashed 2 and worked with so many others that he lost count a long time ago. Ed focuses on consumer product companies primarily in the food, pet and technology categories. His specific strengths are in product innovation, marketing and sales/distribution.

His professional Interests include:  consumer marketing, consumer branding, pets/dogs, financial markets, media, mobile, outdoors, organic/natural foods/farms, retail/CPG, social media, and technology.

Ed’s leadership and initiative permeates more than just his professional endeavors. He has co-founded and grown two community organizations, served on the board of directors for an industry trade group, is a mentor to private equity-funded companies,  is a guest lecturer, an accomplished public speaker and creates tutorials on growing a consumer product company available on his website.

His personal interests include: Christianity, biathlon (ski/shoot), cycling, trail running/hiking, rock climbing (bouldering), weightlifting, skiing, farming, cooking, eating, nutrition, dogs & GPS/Maps.

He has helped his wife start and grow two businesses and is currently rehabilitating land where he lives for organic, pesticide-free and sustainable agriculture. Ed is a former national-level amateur athlete, competing in both triathlons and biathlons (ski/shoot) and has an MBA from the University of Denver, Colorado, USA.  He and his wife live in Sedalia, Colorado with their two dogs, Jahzara , the Greyhound, and Romeo, the Viszla.
