PURPOSE OF MY WEBSITE

I post mostly about growing a consumer product company, my primary business, but also include other posts that match my interests or which I believe may be beneficial and interesting to others.  Please subscribe to my posts via Email or RSS. I also post to Twitter and Google+.

  • Experienced in leading consumer product/service companies, from start-up through exit.
  • Strong skill set in marketing, sales, branding, product development, finance and outsourcing.
  • Professional Interests:  Consumer Marketing, Consumer Branding, Pets/Dogs, Financial Markets, Media, Mobile/Wireless, Outdoors, Organic/Natural foods/Farms, Retail/CPG, Social Media, Technology.
  • Currently work as a consultant in consumer products, own two dog-related businesses with my wife Sue Brown (The Light of Dog; Love My Dog Training) and own Lightning Strike Farms.

PERSONAL INTERESTS

  • Evangelical Christian:  follow Leading The Way Ministries, Mars Hill Church, The Rock Community Church (Castle Rock , CO).
  • Activities/Outdoors:  biathlon (ski/shoot), cycling, trail running/hiking, rock climbing (bouldering), weightlifting, skiing, working around my farm/ranch property where I live, cooking, eating, nutrition, dogs & GPS/Maps.
