My last two emails sent to my list saw spikes in click through rates on one link in each email.

Both links led to entertainment-based content with a short video.

On seeing this, I reviewed all the performance stats on emails sent to my list in the last year and did not see anything near those email marketing click through rates. Those spikes were at least double the email marketing click through rate I have seen in other emails.

I have not done much entertainment-based short video in the past, so these results means I will be trying to do more.

While video can be time consuming, neither one of these took long at all to assemble.

In fact, for one of the videos I used the Snapchat app on my phone to cobble together a bunch of short clips.
